MYTHS ABOUT VIRTUAL INTERIOR DESIGN

Common misconceptions about this modern and innovative service

Virtual design is not like your favorite home improvement show. Your designer will not meet with you once and then go back to the office to create a perfect design that fits your style and demands. I can’t execute a full room design on a limited budget and have it ready for the big reveal by the weekend. Virtual design still takes time, just not as much as traditional interior design.

Designers do not like virtual design more than full-service because it is easier for the designer. Although I may not have to travel or handle orders, I still put a lot of time and effort in to ensuring my client (project partner) is pleased with the outcome. Communicating effectively and exclusively via technology, producing project boards, 3D renders, product lists, floor plans and instructions is not easier- it is just different.

Virtual Design is not a cookie cutter service that is more affordable because it is not unique or client-focused. There are online services that offer pre-made designs which is why they are priced so cheap- but this is not what I offer. J.Suddeth Interiors offers personable design services that are focused on creating a space that tells your story but still functionable in design. My designs are never duplicated and my client’s individual style and needs are always the focus.

Design is about making people happy, either functionally, aesthetically, or emotionally.
